Hi Veronica here today and I must say I am very happy to be on another term with Helmar! This will be my third year
I have some outline stamps that are made to stack and create beautiful layered images. I made this flower and started creating my Birthday card with my base and working my way up.
Hi, today I my tags are being featured over at Helmar. Please go on by and take a look at what all the designers have lined up for you.
I am one of those crafters that has my hands in many different genres/medias. I paint, sketch, scrapbook, cross stitch, sew … you name it. One of the reasons is probably because my mom taught my twin sisters and I how to do all those things including knitting, but that didn’t take with me. Knitting takes too long and I didn’t have the patience.
So like my love of all things having to do with creativity and handmade I also have several “styles.” One of styles is whimsical art or in this case paper piecing.
I made these cute “Back to School” tags for my design team project. I love these doggies, they are so dang cute.
Hi, I just posted this cute layout over at the Helmar blog – we have a new design team so go on over and see what the other team members have created.
Today I wanted to use my BoBunny 6×6 mini pad. As you know their pads of papers have so many pages and I get a thrill of using every last piece. Whether it is on albums, layout or cards I have an obsession to not waste my beautiful papers. So for this project I have some left over pre-made pages that came in my pad.
Below are some photos of my process. I was able to use the premade pages by fussy cutting around them and making this 12×12 layout.
It’s my turn over at the Helmar blog today. These cards are being featured along with the process of supplies, instructions and tips to make these cards. So please go on over to the Helmar blog today.
These two cards were made with the same design in mind. I slightly altered the second “Happy Birthday” card with size and added more pennants.
To follow the instructions to make these cards please go to the Helmar card I went through the process for the smaller “Celebrate” card. For this yellow “Happy Birthday” card I used yellow Bazzill cardstock and changed the color and pattern of the ribbons.
I also changed the Sizzix embossed folder pattern to dots. I added some patterned paper and made this card 5×7.
I used three Helmar Adhesives. One of my favorites is the 450 Quick Dry Adhesive
Lastly, I used the Helmar Zap Dots 3D white round
Hope you enjoyed my card making today. When making cards and you already have all your supplies out, you might as well make several. It takes just as much effort to make one card than it does to make two or three. Use the same design for all so as not to reinvent the wheel. All you need to do is alter your cards with size, color or added embellishments.
Thank you for stopping by …
Hi Everyone, today my Mother’s Day Gift (Bookmark) is being featured over at the Helmar Blog so please go on over for more photos and process.
My family and I are avid readers so I wanted to make a cute bookmark for my daughter. This particular bookmark is for my daughter’s Midori Bullet journals.
I used Helmar’s Fabric glue on the felt, beads and buttons knowing that it’s great for adhering. I also used the Helmar Silicon Sealant for gluing the felt flower arrangement to my 7 Gypsies rubber band.
This was an easy and fun project and I plan on making more bookmarks. You can also go to a fabric store and buy some elastic instead of using a rubber band.
Thank you for stopping by and please go by the Helmar blog and check out my featured Mother’s Day Gift Bookmark.
Happy Scrapping …
My girlfriend’s birthday is coming up and I am getting her a gift card which I know she wants; but I couldn’t just put a gift card in an envelope. I decided to make her this cute frame and attach her gift card to the clipboard. She can later clip a family photo or notepad to the frame if she wishes.
I then cut out a nice 5×5 photo frame that I adhered with the Helmar 450 Quick Dry Glue
I know my girlfriend will be surprised and enjoy this cute gift. I hope I have inspired you to try out an easy Home Decor Gift using Helmar Adhesives.
Thank you for stopping by and please go by the Helmar blog and check out my featured Home Decor Frame.
Happy Scrapping …
Hi, the Holidays are in full swing and I got with the program and made this cute door hanger for my guest room to welcome family.
This cute door hanger is featured over at the Helmar blog today, please go on over and say hello. Also my design team mates are getting very creative this month so you will want to browse for ideas.
For this project I chose two specific adhesives from Helmar
When making projects I tend to organize my studio in themes rather than manufacturer so when making this tag I picked up my “Fall” box which has bits and pieces of fall related products vs. manufacturer. The box is also already organized with related embellishments and colors.
Thank you for stopping by today, be sure to head on over to my post on Helmar.
Happy scrapping …
